Trip Overview

Let us be like a pro trekker, or let us be like them who have the spirit to do something extraordinary near the highest mountains Mt. Everest 8848m of the world, or in other words, let us be like Hillary and Tenzing at least to some extent by walking the trails where they had walked and left their traces. What is the name of the journey they had done; the answer is Jiri Everest Base Camp Trek. One of the main characteristics of this trek is; you can see a few trekkers on the trail. Just other treks are challenging in the Everest Region, this trek is challenging too, and finally, it takes you to the base of the world’s highest mountain. This trek is demanding and a lot of fun for the trekkers, who like to walk for a long time, and who are physically fit and have a positive attitude to enjoy every part of the Everest Region, whether it is beautiful or challenging.

Every Everest Trek is indeed a mixture of beautiful nature, colorful culture, and world-class adventure. That is why; a trekking trail takes you to an alpine forest, glaciated river, Buddhist monasteries, and snow-covered mountains. The mountains inspire you with their beauties, while the Jiri Everest Base Camp trek trail takes you uphill and downhill that you have never walked in your life before, but the rewards that you get are many and cannot be described in words. See the colorful prayer flags by the trekking trail and ask the trekking guide what it means, after hearing the answer; your spirit will be high, and you will be affected by the teachings of Buddhism. Not only this, but you will also find the culture of the Sherpa people interesting.

Jiri Everest Base camp Trek is still different from other Everest Treks because it starts with a long bus drive of seven hours while others begin with a 30-minute flight to Lukla. In the flight, you will see a range of the Himalayas, in other words, almost all the famous mountains of the world, during the drive, you will pass through pine and rhododendron forest and by the stunning waterfalls. But on the last day of Jiri Everest Base Camp Trek, you will fly out from Lukla, and if you sit on the right side of an airplane, you will see all the famous mountains of the world. The most famous mountains you will see are Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam, Pumori, Thamserku, and Makalu.

Accommodation

You will be staying at a 3-star hotel (Value) in Kathmandu on bed and breakfast twin sharing with attached bathroom.
